LPG services for motorhomes, boats and homes
Gas Safe registered LPG engineers covering all London boroughs, Kent and Essex, including Dartford, Bexley, Bromley, Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Thurrock and Brentwood.
We provide specialist LPG installation, servicing, and safety inspections for motorhomes, boats, and residential homes. Our Gas Safe registered engineers ensure all LPG systems are installed and maintained safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with current regulations. Whether you require a new LPG installation, system upgrade, leak check, or routine servicing, we deliver reliable and professional solutions tailored to your setup. We work with LPG cylinders, regulators, pipework, and connected appliances.
What we do with LPG
Motorhomes, caravans and boats
Leisure vehicle and marine LPG has its own rules, its own fittings and its own inspection regime. We install and check cylinders, regulators, hoses, bulkhead fittings and appliances, and issue the documentation you need for hire, insurance or resale.
Homes off the gas grid
Where there is no mains gas, LPG runs your boiler, cooker and fire exactly as natural gas would, from a bulk tank or cylinders. We install and convert appliances, run the pipework and service the system, and we can advise on whether a heat pump would now be cheaper to run than bulk LPG.
Safety inspections, leak checks and certificates
Tightness testing, regulator and hose replacement, ventilation checks and appliance combustion testing, with a written record at the end. Best for motorhome owners, boat owners, and homeowners using LPG systems who require safe installation, servicing, or certification.
Our work

Frequently asked questions
Is LPG work different from natural gas work?
Yes. LPG is heavier than air, it is stored under pressure and it needs different appliance settings, different ventilation rules and different fittings. An engineer must hold the specific LPG qualifications on their Gas Safe registration, and for motorhomes and boats there are further categories again.
Do you inspect motorhomes and caravans?
Yes. We check the cylinder locker and its drop out vent, the regulator and hoses, the pipework, the appliances and the ventilation, then test the system for tightness and issue a written report. Hoses and regulators have a service life, and they are the parts most often found out of date.
Can you work on boats?
Yes. Marine LPG has its own standards, and the risks are higher because the gas collects in the bilge rather than escaping. We inspect and install to the marine requirements and provide the documentation surveyors and insurers ask for.
Can my natural gas appliance run on LPG?
Many appliances can be converted with the manufacturer conversion kit, which changes the injectors and the gas valve settings. Some cannot. We check the model against the manufacturer data before agreeing to it, because an unconverted or badly converted appliance is dangerous.
How often should an LPG system be checked?
Annually for a home, and annually for a motorhome or boat that is in regular use, with hoses and regulators replaced at the intervals the manufacturer specifies. If a vehicle has been standing for a long period, have it checked before you use the system again.
I can smell gas in my motorhome. What should I do?
Turn the cylinder valve off, open the doors and windows, do not operate switches or naked flames, and get everyone out. Do not use the vehicle until it has been tested. Call us and we will trace the leak and make it safe.
Is LPG more expensive to run than mains gas?
Per unit of energy it usually is, which is why off grid properties often look at alternatives. If your home runs on bulk LPG, it is worth asking us to compare it against an air source heat pump, which attracts government grant support and typically has a much lower running cost off the gas grid.
Do you supply the gas as well?
No, we install, service and certify the systems and appliances. You buy the gas from your bulk supplier or cylinder stockist, and we are happy to advise on the tank or cylinder arrangement that suits your property.
Do you work on commercial buildings?
Yes, and a large part of our work is commercial. We hold the accreditations needed to design, install and certify commercial heating, hot water and gas plant, and we have completed projects in schools and churches as well as offices, restaurants, care homes, hospitals, apartment blocks and multi occupancy buildings. We are used to working in occupied buildings and will plan the work around term times, services and opening hours.
